Trustee or Trustee Advisor
A trustee of a trust manages trust assets for the benefit of a beneficiary or multiple beneficiaries. The trustee consults with professional financial and investment managers and prepares accountings of trust property, trust income, and trust expenses. If the trust document gives the trustee discretion to make distributions to a beneficiary, the trustee exercises judgment in making trust distributions. Trust Protector or Trust Protector Advisor
A trust protector performs the duties given to them in the trust document. Generally, a trust protector oversees the trustee of a trust and ensures that the trustee is abiding by the trust document. Agent under a Power of Attorney or Agent under a Power of Attorney Advisor
An agent under a Power of Attorney handles the financial matters of another person (called the principal). The agent must use and manage the principal's finances only for the principal. Agent under an Advance Health Care Directive or Agent under an Advance Health Care Directive Advisor
An agent under an Advance Health Care Directive (sometimes called a Power of Attorney for Health Care) handles the medical and health matters of another person (called the principal). The agent oversees medical and health decisions as the principal wrote in their Advance Health Care Directive. The agent ensures that the principal's wishes regarding their medical and health care are followed. Executor/Personal Representative/Administrator or Executor/Personal Representative/Administrator Advisor
An executor of a will, a personal representative, and an administrator of an estate are different titles of essentially the same person, who works with the probate court to distribute a dead person's assets under the dead person's will (or the dead person's assets if the dead person died without a will and a trust). The executor/personal representative/administrator collects the dead person's assets and debts, reports all assets and income/expenses to the probate court, and works with the probate court to oversee the payment of the dead person's debts and the distribution of remaining assets to the beneficiaries. Michael can act as an executor/personal representative/administrator or can advise and consult with you if you are an executor/personal representative/administrator.
Conservator of the Estate or Conservator of the Estate Advisor
A conservator of the estate is appointed by a court to handle a person's finances and assets when that person can no longer handle them. Michael can act as a conservator of your estate or can advise and consult with you if you are a conservator of the estate.
Conservator of the Person or Conservator of the Person Advisor
A conservator of the person is appointed by a court to handle a person's personal, non-financial matters when that person can no longer handle them. Michael can act as a conservator of your person or can advise and consult with you if you are a conservator of the person.
